What The Sleep System Parents Say

"My online consultation with you has just ended, and i just wanted to send a quick thank you!

Every time Isabel goes to sleep in her cot on her own, without a dummy or rocking etc., I feel like celebrating, and the new routine has given me loads of spare time when she is asleep, plus days are much more predictable.

Thanks again for all your help - it was the best £25 I ever spent!

Practical Parenting Magazine's Sleep School

"You get them into bed on time and they happily drift off ... until 5am! So how do you stop your baby being a dawn waker?"

That was the question posed by journalist Kate Ashley when she interviewed Wendy for her article, Early Birds, for the April 2007 issue of Practical Parenting magazine.

The article discusses Wendy's techniques and simple steps for coping with babies and toddlers who are early risers. A case study is presented for each age group; newborns, older babies and toddlers.

Newborns

The newborns (0 - 6 months) case study tells how Maria (a Baby Sleep System mum) solved the problemof her daughter Tabitha waking at 5:00am each morning. Maria describes the techniques in The Baby Sleep System as "much of it is common sense, but when you're exhausted you just can't see it."

Older Babies

The older babies (6 - 12 months) case study tells how daytime activity and structured naps helped Kate Pahl's 9 month old son, Hallam, break the 6:00am barrier.

Toddlers

The toddlers (12 - 18 months) case study shows how some children get the early riser habit from their parents! Wendy explains how fresh air and exercise can help a child sleep for longer during the night. Blackout curtains can be a big help too!
